Maundy Thursday: the last supper

Thursday 18th April, 7pm, St Helen’s

A raucous bring-&-share "last supper” punctuated with readings, informal communion and the opportunity for foot-washing as we enter into the Easter story.

(Please bring along something edible and drinkable to share around - think along the lines of mezze/tapas)

Good Friday: facing the cross

Friday 19th April

10am, Walk of Witness // Join with people from many other local churches to walk and pray around the city centre.  Gather in the cathedral nave from 9.45am.

12noon, St Helen’s // Contemplative space to remember, lament and wonder at the crucifixion of Christ. Includes sung worship, time to be still and a short talk.

4pm, St Helen’s // This is a family-friendly version of the 12noon service.  We will take time to recognise that we need the grace of God in our lives, to explore the meaning of Christ’s death and to pray together.

Easter Sunday: resurrection party

Sunday 21st April, 10.30am, All Saints

The whole church gathered together for a lively communion party to celebrate the surprising newness and hope of the resurrection!

Easter Sunday Dawn Service

There is also an ecumenical “Dawn Service” which we are helping lead. We will meet at 6.30am at the Quay.
