Prayer
"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)

Prayer Ministry
Our prayer team meets on Sunday mornings from 10:00 onwards in preparation for worship.
A prayer ministry team is available after morning and evening worship - we are always willing to pray for you personally about anything.
Prayer Matters!
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."
(Ephesians 6:18)
"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord."
(James 5:13-14)
Prayer Groups
Our prayer groups meet in different places at different times during the week.
The Saturday Morning Prayer Group meets at 9:30 a.m. in All Saints Church. We usually aim to finish within half an hour or so.
The Tuesday Lunchtime Prayer Group meeting is held between 1:05 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. in St Helen's Church.
The Parish Prayer Group meets during the week at one of our members' homes. For further details please contact our Parish Office.
We also have a monthly prayer meeting, which is held in All Saints. We meet at 7:0 pm for an hour or so - for dates and details please see our weekly pew sheets of the monthly newsletter.
e-Prayer Chain
We set up an e-prayer chain a few years ago to address the varied prayer needs in our parish, our mission needs, events, and often to respond to requests from visitors or callers. We send out e-prayers to a network of recipients, including many in our small groups. In many cases, prayer needs cover sensitive isusues, and so we often have to ensure the anonymity of those asking for prayer.
If you want to know more, or if you have a prayer request, please send an e-mail to our Parish Office.
