Prayer

"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)

Our prayer team meets on Sunday mornings from 10:00 onwards in preparation for worship. A prayer ministry team is available after morning worship - we are always willing to pray for you personally about anything.

Also, our prayer groups meet in different places at different times during the week.

Prayer Matters!

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."
(Ephesians 6:18)

"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord."
(James 5:13-14)

The Saturday Morning Prayer Group meets at 9:30 a.m. in All Saints Church. We usually aim to finish within half an hour or so.

The Tuesday Lunchtime Prayer Group meeting is held between 1:05 p.m. and 1:35 p.m. in St Helen's Church.

The Parish Prayer Group meets during the week at one of our members' homes. For further details please contact our Parish Office.

Another group meets for contemplative prayer once a month - usually on a Thursday at 2:00 p.m. - for dates and details please speak to Sue in church, or contact our Parish Office.

Pick up the All Saints Prayer Booklet in church and use it as an aid to your prayers .... or come along to one of our meetings if you want to pray with us.
