We are a vibrant charismatic evangelical Anglican church in the heart of Worcester with a congregation of approximately 330. We are a part of the New Wine family of churches. We are one of two “resourcing churches” in the Diocese of Worcester with a specific call and role to take a lead on the planting of new churches, assist with the revitalising of existing churches and to facilitate the resourcing of local churches. Successful candidates for the following roles will be highly motivated, high capacity, creative, self-starting and dynamic. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, a deep love for the local church and a desire to see it flourish. They will have a mature and vibrant personal faith in Jesus and be confident ministering in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. They will be self-aware, undefended, good at relating to and connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds, open to growing and developing both personally and in ministry, with a desire to be part of the wider church and to model what it looks like to live out our vision and values.

We are currently recruiting for the following two roles:

CURATE (to start at Petertide 2020)

If you are interested in this role please email the Vicar to request a copy of the curacy profile and to arrange an initial conversation about the role.

YOUTH WORKER (maternity cover)

This is a fixed-term contract for the period of 1st September 2019 to 20th July 2020, providing maternity cover for a permanent member of our staff team.

This is a key role on the Staff Team of the church at a time when we are seeing a flourishing of our youth ministry.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about ministry to and with youth (11-18 year olds) who feels called and gifted by God to nurture and empower young people through a dynamic and focused youth ministry.

We are looking for someone who will be excited about continuing and sustaining the significant work that has been done by the permanent post-holder, working with our youth ministry strategy, model and programme, and recognising that there will necessarily be a limit on how much innovation can be done.

Deadline for applications: Thursday 11th July

Interviews: Thursday 18th July

Start date: Sunday 1st September

To arrange an informal conversation and/or request a full role description and application form, please email the Vicar and include an up-to-date CV.
