High Street and Copenhagen Street: Your Kingdom Come

Lord, you have encouraged us to love Worcester.  To love this city fully into life, so that its people, economy and environment shall flourish and grow; so that your church would take her rightful place as your agents of change under the banner that declares Jesus is Lord over this city.

O High King of Heaven, we declare your name and presence over every conversation, transaction and interaction that takes place in our High Street and Copenhagen Street.  We speak peace, protection, kindness and hope over every business, all emergency services, in and through every encounter between people, and in the minds and hearts of all who make vital decisions for these places.  We declare freedom over all captives.

We stand together for recognisable change in the heart of our city, believing that when we pray we wield powerful weapons against every power set against your plans.  Be a protective wall of fire around these streets we pray, and set another fire in our hearts to be the difference we are praying for. 

Lord of Heaven, may your kingdom come and your will be done in High Street and Copenhagen Street, as it is in Heaven.  Amen.
