The Big Day Out
Saturday 19th September
Join us for a day trip to Cardiff Docks to visit Logos Hope, Operation Mobilisation’s international mission ship and home to the world’s largest floating bookfair.
Discover life aboard Logos Hope
Logos Hope is Operation Mobilisation’s international mission ship and home to a diverse Christian community made up of crew members from across the world.
We’ll be welcomed as a group from All Saints before dividing into smaller groups for guided tours led by members of the ship’s crew.
The tour will include areas such as:
the bridge
the dining saloon
conference and activity decks
the book exhibition and shop
Tours take place in pre-booked time slots, so everyone attending must book in advance.
The afternoon
After the tour, we’ll stop for a packed lunch together on board.
During the early afternoon, we will hear from one of the ship’s senior leaders about life aboard Logos Hope and its work in global mission. There will be time for questions and conversation, and there may also be an opportunity for worship with members of the ship’s band.
From approximately 2:30pm, there will be free time to explore the bookshop further or enjoy Cardiff Bay.
You might choose to walk along the waterfront, browse nearby shops, stop for a coffee or simply relax before we regather for the journey home.
