Holiday Club Highlights

Be part of something joyful, messy, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Holiday Club isn't just for kids—it’s an amazing opportunity for adults and young people to serve, laugh, lead, and make a real difference in the lives of children.

Whether you're great with kids, love working behind the scenes, or just want to serve wherever needed, there's a place for you on the team.

Below are the ways you could serve:

Join the Create Holiday Club Team!

  • Take the lead for a small group of 9–10 children. You’ll guide your group through each part of the morning, encourage them to get stuck into activities, and help your Kids Team feel confident and supported. It’s all about building connection and creating a great atmosphere.

  • Be a friendly and caring presence for your assigned group of children. You’ll help them join in with crafts, games, and songs—and make sure they feel safe, included, and encouraged throughout the morning. You’ll be guided by your Group Team Leader.

  • Some children may need a moment to reset during the morning. You’ll create a calm and welcoming space where they can decompress, talk, and reset. If no one is in the zone, you’ll float and help wherever you’re needed—whether that’s setting up crafts or stepping in to support a leader.

  • Love the buttons and cables? You’ll help make sure sound, slides, and songs all run smoothly. From playing the arrival playlist to running ProPresenter during worship, you’ll take direction from Phil (our tech lead) and help set the tone for the morning.

  • You’ll keep the team fuelled with coffee and keep the kids going with drinks and snacks! You’ll prep and serve refreshments, check in with leaders during the morning, and help with washing up and tidying away at the end.

  • You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes each child and ensures our registers are up to date. You’ll also communicate any key info (allergies, SEN needs, etc.) to the relevant group leaders on Day 1. Confidence with online forms and attention to detail is a bonus here!

  • Calling all creatives! Help us transform St Helen’s into a colourful, imaginative world—think giant paintbrushes, oversized crayon boxes, and more. This is a hands-on, pre-event role where your craft skills and bold ideas can shine.
